Travis Finley, owner and master fabricator of Slingin Shanks, has dedicated his life to pursuing his passions. Guided by faith, family and a deep-rooted love for the rodeo way of life. Born with a burning passion for bull riding, Travis found himself drawn into the world of rodeo at an early age. His dedication to the sport was more than just a pastime. It was a calling. it was through that calling that he met the love of his life, Heather. Now after 22 years of marriage, they have built not only a family but a life rich in purpose and meaning.

Travis and Heather, along with their two children, Tanner and NovaLee, live just outside of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Their life, steeped in tradition, is anchored by the values they hold most dear: Faith, Family, and Hard Work. While bull riding fueled his adventurous spirit, it was through his bull riding career that Travis discovered his new passion - building spurs.

Twelve years ago, what began as a hobby in his workshop quickly grew to something much more. Today, Travis fabricates nearly 1000 pairs of spurs per year through the Slingin Shanks brand. His work is not just a craft but an art form, where each pair tells a story. His creations are built using the finest materials and craftsmanship reflecting his belief that the work of his hands can be a tribute to God and an expression of the stories that matter most.
